Renovation of a 1970's tract home:  A clutter of separate rooms and enclosed kitchen is opened up to create a large living area for family events.  A marble topped island becomes the focal point for gathering between kitchen, dining and living area.  In the master bedroom an inefficient bathroom is reconfigured to ease circulation and provide more storage space with his/hers vanities arranged around a large walk in glass shower.
